I began by determining that the poster should feel somewhat artisanal, to allude to the labor of the farmers, yet also slightly decorative, to celebrate the event. I decided to base this design on an illustration, which both supports the design choices previously mentioned and quickly communicates the poster’s message. Lastly, I created a composition that balanced the illustration, necessary information, and some decorative elements.
